Children's Coins
Following on from Whit Sunday last year, the children carried on collecting loose change, to raise money for our Sierra Leone project.
As a change for this year, they'd already drawn around the outline of themselves onto large sheets of paper. During this morning's service, they put the coins inside their "bodies". As a bit of fun, we decided to count each child's total separately, to see how much each child was "worth"!
We're pleased to announce the children raised another magnficient total of £99.03 towards our Sierra Leone project - and the individual "scores on the doors" are:
- Sophie = £16.40
- Jessica = £14.91
- Lucy = £25.57
- Rosie = £17.78
- Ellen = £24.37
There were still some coins left over, so it's been decided to have another go later in the year.
